Rain, rain go away, ya know the rest.

The rain was coming down hard last night. I was so frightened I had to pull over on the highway. I had to give my hand a break from gripping so hard. I was wondering how everyone else was still going 70mph when I was doing 30mph. How did they see. Hail and tree branches were flying everywhere. I just could not wait to get home and get under the covers.
When I got home something was wrong with my cat, Benson. He was acting strange. He has asthma, so you can imagine my worry. I brushed him and Mr. Bean, my other cat, for an hour (lowered my blood pressure) in hopes Benson would reveal the problem, but no. I wound up with enough hair to make five more cats. Then I let them be for awhile. Later I went looking for Benson. I could not find him anywhere. Under the bed no, in the closet no, ahh behind the bed, no. I noticed a lump in the covers on the bed. Yup, him. I pulled the covers back, but he wouldn't come out. Benson was freaked out about the thunder and lightening. He kept looking at the window, his eyes dilated. You may not be interested in my cat story, but he never does this. It was cute. The story is I was relating to him. All I wanted was to hide under the covers. The problem, I'm not cute when I'm doing it. Just a little crazy. Rainy days come and go. Now that the rain is gone, I'm grateful my zucchini might do better. Hope you have an outside the covers kind of day.
