Smile
I recently read somewhere people can make better connections with others by smiling and looking into there eyes. It was in a relationship article, but I thought I would try it out on all people. Being I'm in sales, making an instant connection with others is pertinent. I tried it when I was out and about too. I looked at everyone I crossed paths with, and it was great. People said hi or they looked at me funny. It's ok. I have been noticing some sad faces lately, might be because of their financial portfolio or overall sadness. The majority of people probably have no idea they are frowning. Even if they think, some crazy chic smiled at me today, I feel I've made a difference. Try it out and let me know.

I think a great lesson can be learned from babies. They're job is to look people in the eyes and study their faces. This has been a real pleasure, watching Christopher look people in the eye--it forces others to smile at him and then he smiles back. Babies are so full of wisdom!
ReplyDeleteThat is so true, they know more than adults go figure.
