Ok this may at first look political, well it's not. You be the judge. Read the following article.

I'm truly offended by this. Who does this priest think he is? How dare he bully his church this way. Perhaps he 's judging them as sinners............ In his faith, there is only one judge to really worry about. I believe to many concern themselves with what others are doing. Watch your own sins. He may feel it is his job to be a moral compass, but really isn't this going a little far? What do you think?
I don't understand why churches interfere with people's political choices like this. Is abortion the only issue in the election? What about helping the poor and destitute? Isn't that something the Catholic Church supports too? Doesn't Barack Obama want to help people who are not as financially well-off? This priest's move seems to be a blatant example of bullying. I never understood all those rules about communion anyway. I think that if you choose, you can have your own personal relationship with God and/or Jesus and whether or not you eat a wafer every Sunday should have nothing to do with it.
ReplyDeleteWhat I don't get though is this whole living free thing. If we are really truly free, we should be able to do what we want. Why is Religion coming before our Freedom?
