Professional faller, is going on my resume, under special skills. Yes I always fall. It takes skill and lack of grace. It may not be for everyone, but for me it truly is the only way to live. Yes it is a lifestyle I have accepted.
Over the past six days I've fallen four times. Once out the door, once in my driveway, once in front of strangers and last but not least once in the door. I only have one injury, a scrap on my hand from the ice. This is because I'm great at falling. I do not even put hands down when I fall. I just go with it, so not to brake wrists and other body parts. And of course I'm always careful never to spill my drink. That is a joke, I only drink indoors during the winter and definitely never in front of strangers!!! Oh don't get me wrong. I have, in the past, pulled a muscle or two, those go lovely with bruises. All of the recent falls are due to it being very icy here in The NJ. Which means lots of obstacles everywhere. It snows and turns to sleet, to freezing rain, then to rain/slush. The temperature goes up to 40 degrees then drops to 16 degrees, hence ice. Oh and lets not forget the snow again, that disguises the ice. So really none of these falls are my fault. Thank God I'm great at falling, because a non professional would be at the hospital right now in a full body cast.
