Dying my gray hair at ninety.

I learn many things from my older patients. I also think they learn things from me as well. Today a 90 year old woman asked me if she should keep dying her hair. What's the point? she said. I told her to try it , and she can always dye it back. I have to add, she is a very sharp 90. She looks great too. She was telling me about a movie review night she has with her friends. Once a month they meet, after watching the movie before, and give it their reviews with some wine and cheese. I might steal the idea. After that patient, another 2 women came over and talked about the bags under their eyes. I over heard the one say to the other "there must be something I can do". They must not watch any TV. Last week we had some windy days, 60mph in some areas, one patient said, his wife stayed home because she was afraid a tree would fall on the car. Huh!!! and I said it out loud too. At first I felt bad and then I said to him "yup and a tree can fall on your house too ". He looked at me and started laughing. I'm a true believer in when it is your time it's your time. If one thing don't get ya old age will. Death has 100% rate. It is the one thing we can all count on for sure. I will say, I absolutely will be dying my hair at 90. That is another 100% guarantee, and if I'm out of it, I'll have papers that say someone has to do it for me.
