Celebrity cheaters
Do you remember years ago it appeared that Meg Ryan cheated on her husband with Russell Crowe? It seems her career has not been the same, not to mention her face. What strikes me as strange though, the men cheating never seem to take the same hit. No one stopped seeing Russell Crowe movies after the alleged affair. Also it seems not many women celebrities get caught cheating. Maybe they do not cheat as much or they don't get caught. I can't think of any other women cheaters off the top of my head. Oh wait Leanne Rimes, but, hello, have you seen Eddie Cibrian. We'll have to see how her career goes, but he has a new job on CSI. See what I mean!!! Do men get a pass? As for Meg Ryan she is still my go to girl when it comes to romantic movies. The whole star crossed lovers and what not. It never gets old. I still watch those movies, but I wish I knew what she is doing about love now. I need her.

I don't remember Meg Ryan cheating with Russell Crowe. I DO remember Dennis Quaid cheating on Meg Ryan for several years - as we now know for a fact - and then her leaving him for Russell Crowe.
ReplyDeleteHere is another kicker. These celebrity men cheat on their wives and then use the lame excuse of "I have been diagnosed as a sex addict and I am in therapy." Oh, ok, I understand now. It's ok now that you cheated on your wife and your children and your fans and your teamates. He couldn't help it. He's an addict. Ok, it's fine.
ReplyDeleteThat is funny because, while not the point of my post, that was not how it played out, at the time, in the media. As you may notice I wrote appeared. Maybe I should have wrote about how the media plays it all out for us.
